1.       NASA and ISRO jointly working on NISAR mission. NASA – ISRO Synthetic Aperture Radar (NISAR) was decided at meeting held on 21 July 2015.
2.       R Sampanthan became the first Tamilian as leader of opposition in Sri Lankan Parliament.
3.       India receives UNESCO’s excellence award for conserving Vadakkunnathan Temple.
4.       Government appoints Dinesh Kumar Likhi as CMD of Mishra Dhatu Nigam Limited.
5.        L.C. Goyal appointed as Chairman of Indian Trade Promotion Organisation.
6.       Ratan P Watal designated as new Finance Secretary.
7.       Rajiv Mehrishi appointed as New Home Secretary.
8.       Andhra Pradesh assembly passes the Andhra Pradesh special court Bill.

16.   India beat Sri Lanka in the 3rd and final Test match to win the series by 2-1. It is India’s first test win Sri Lanka after 23 years and first overseas series win since 2011.
